Tamil Community Centre women exchange stories of migration for International Women's Day

On 30 March, a Tamil Community Centre women's group hosted a story hour on women and migration to celebrate International Women's Day.

Women in the group came together to share their experiences of life in the UK and reflect on the circumstances for women in their country of origin. Filmed for the Through the generations: Tamil oral history project, the session will be made available in a series of film vignettes on Tamil migration to the UK.

The session has been made possible with support from the Heritage Lottery Fund, Oxfam and Race on the Agenda.
